Job Description
Your primary role as a sales associate is to greet and interact with customers, and assist them with their product questions and purchases. A warm and friendly demeanor, and a strong knowledge of equestrian and equine products is essential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet and assist customers, and try to ensure an excellent customer experience
Offer helpful information and advice about products of interest to the customer
Suggest other products that may be complementary or of potential interest
Answer customer phone calls and emails
Process purchase transactions and returns
Perform daily opening and closing procedures at start/end of shift, as required
Tag, relocate, reorganize, unpack, count, and handle product inventories as directed
Help ensure all store areas remain clean and orderly
Continuously improve personal knowledge of equestrian and equine products
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic computer skills
Demonstrated customer relations skills
At least two solid years of experience riding and/or working around horses
Working knowledge of equestrian and equine products
Positive attitude and ability to be a team player
STORE HOURS:
Weekdays — 9:00 to 6:00 . . . Saturday—9:00 to 5:00 . . . (Closed Sunday)
