Job Description
Your primary job is to move, stack, and organize feed bags, hay bales, shavings, and other supplies, and to deliver these products to barns and stables in the Orange County area. Working with other team members, and sometimes alone, you will load/unload and drive a flat-bed truck (as pictured on the Job Board). When not on delivery, your job is to organize and maintain the hay yard, and help customers load heavy in-store purchases into their personal vehicle.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Load, organize, and secure bags, bales, and other materials onto a flat-bed delivery truck
Drive delivery truck to customer-designated sites according to daily schedule and route plan
Unload and place ordered supplies in barn or stable according to customer instructions and store policy
Maintain, organize, and clean up the hay yard (offsite property)
Use and care for store tools, equipment, and vehicles in accordance with store policy and procedure
Assist customers by loading heavy in-store purchases into their personal vehicle
Adhere to store health and safety policies, including safe lifting practices
Perform other tasks and duties as may be assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
At least 25 years old with a valid California drivers license
Clean driving record, and at least 5 years of driving experience
Experience driving flatbed trucks (as pictured on job list page) is preferred
Ability to lift, move, and stack feed bags (and other bagged product) weighing 25-50 lbs each, and bales of hay and straw weighing 80-120 lbs each
Demonstrated ability to work effectively and cooperatively with fellow team members
Ability to relate to horse owners is a plus

We provide tools and equipment for you to use on the job, as well as periodic safety training. We are committed to maintaining a safe work environment, so you will be expected to follow all health and safety rules and use good judgment at all times.
STORE HOURS:
Weekdays — 9:00 to 6:00 . . . Saturday—9:00 to 5:00 . . . (Closed Sunday)
